Gum disease begins with inflammation and plaque buildup. If untreated, it can progress to bone loss, sensitivity, tooth mobility, and changes in smile comfort. Early intervention helps protect your teeth and overall wellbeing. We take time to explain your gum health in clear and simple terms so you feel supported and informed.
Your treatment may include deep cleaning, polishing, and tailored home care strategies. We use modern techniques designed to minimise discomfort and promote healing. Treatment is paced in a way that helps you feel calm and supported from start to finish. Our focus is on restoring stability and helping you maintain results long term.
Gum health is an ongoing journey, so we schedule regular reviews and provide clear guidance so you feel empowered to protect your gums between visits. Gentle encouragement and thoughtful advice ensure that each step feels achievable and positive.

I travel 45 minutes to see these ladies, the surgery practice is absolutely beautiful, clean and cozy. Staff are so kind and welcoming. The fact I had a blanket and headphones to watch whatever I wanted on Netflix was a big bonus too. Last appointment I fell asleep, they are so gentle and caring I will never go anywhere else. Best dentist I’ve ever had and I had a few as a kid with braces
Altura is worth checking out for your dental needs. I came across their well-reviewed and recommended ad and decided to investigate. Dr Bryan is lovely and will work with you individually on achieving the results you’re after and genuinely wants success for you and your smile. Receptionists are friendly and make you feel very welcome too. At the start of my journey but I have been so happy with their service so far.
Very professional and friendly staff . I’m very happy with the results. And I love the follow up call to make sure we ok . I highly recommend this dental clinic. Thank you DR Namm and the helping staff .
Everyone at SD dental are so lovely. You are always met with a smile at reception that makes your day. I had Christina whiten my teeth. She is very professional, and friendly. She makes sure your comfortable and does an amazing job.
I have just completed first stage of an implant, having my tooth extracted. Dr Namm was excellent and explained the whole process to me. There was absolutely no pain involved in extracting the tooth. It was just so good...I was really impressed as I have had extensive dental work in the past and it has always been extremely painful. The after-care is second to none. I honestly can't recommend Altura Dental highly enough.
This experience has been truly transformative. My dentist was exceptionally supportive, always available to address concerns, answer questions, make necessary adjustments, and provide reassurance that everything was progressing as expected. He ensured that my new teeth were perfectly suited for me.
