Invisalign is an orthodontic system which uses a series of removable, clear aligners to straighten your teeth. These aligners are made of clear, plastic trays which are virtually invisible to the people around you.
Using advanced 3D scanning and digital planning, we gently guide your teeth into perfect alignment with nearly invisible aligners that fit seamlessly into your lifestyle.
From your first appointment you are welcomed into a calm environment where your opinion is heard. There is time to explore your goals, understand how your smile feels day to day, and establish the look and function you hope to achieve. It is a partnership centred on trust and thoughtful planning. Invisalign becomes the tool, yet the focus remains on your convenience, comfort, and long term wellbeing.
Invisalign uses a series of clear, custom made aligners that gradually guide teeth into improved position. Instead of brackets and metal wires, you receive a sequence of comfortable trays that sit securely and discreetly over your teeth.
These aligners are shaped using advanced digital scans and software. Your smile is mapped with precision so every movement is intentional and controlled. This allows you to continue daily routines with freedom as the trays are removable for eating, brushing, and special moments. The process blends seamlessly into everyday life and allows you to feel composed and self assured throughout treatment.
Each aligner is crafted from super clear, medical-grade SmartTrack® material: discreet, comfortable, and almost imperceptible in day-to-day life.
Every smile starts with a digital 3D scan and simulation. Invisalign’s advanced software maps the exact path your teeth will take for predictable, personalised results.
Eat, brush, and live as usual. Invisalign is able to be removed, giving you complete freedom during meals, brushing, flossing and special occasions.
Each set of aligners applies light, controlled forces to reposition teeth comfortably and efficiently, often with fewer appointments than traditional braces. This means faster appointments and less pain.
Through digital monitoring, we can track your transformation with precision, ensuring your teeth move exactly as planned.
Smooth, custom-fit aligners eliminate irritation to your gums. Tongue and lips from metal brackets and wires, making your journey more comfortable and confidence-filled from start to finish.

Results vary between patients. A consultation with a registered dental practitioner is required to assess suitability, discuss risks, and set realistic expectations based on your circumstances. For more treatment and risks information, please visit:

The Invisalign process begins with a consultation, 3D digital scan using the Trios scanner, and radiographic imaging — no physical impressions needed. This data is sent to Invisalign for treatment planning, with each movement mapped step-by-step using their proprietary software.
A full series of custom aligners is then created and fitted, with attachments placed where required. Aligners are changed every 1–2 weeks, with check-ins every 6–10 weeks, and most treatments complete within 6–12 months. A custom retainer is provided at the end to maintain results long-term.
At this appointment we will assess your teeth and seek to understand your goals. We will then take a digital scan of your teeth along with some photos. Our Trios 3D scanner will capture a 3D image of your teeth without the use of any physical impressions. This data is then sent off to Invisalign for assessment and treatment planning. We will also require some radiographic imaging.
Using Invisalign’s proprietary software, we design your ideal alignment path step-by-step, ensuring each movement is gentle, predictable, and precisely timed.
A full series of custom aligners are created just for you, each representing a micro-step toward your new smile. At this appointment we will insert the first aligner in your mouth along with any ‘attachments’ that need to be placed on the teeth.
You’ll wear each aligner for around one to two weeks before changing to the next. Most patients complete treatment in 6–12 months, depending on complexity. We tend to see you at regular check in appointments to ensure the tooth movement are on track and the fit of the trays are accurate. These appointments are generally 6-10 weeks apart.
Once your new smile is complete, we’ll provide a custom retainer to maintain your results long-term.
Altura is worth checking out for your dental needs. I came across their well-reviewed and recommended ad and decided to investigate. Dr Bryan is lovely and will work with you individually on achieving the results you’re after and genuinely wants success for you and your smile. Receptionists are friendly and make you feel very welcome too. At the start of my journey but I have been so happy with their service so far.
From my initial consultation through to the completion of my treatment I have been so thankful I chose to come to SD Dental Clinic Cleveland. Melissa is such an amazing Dentist. She’s a perfectionist and listens to every little detail. The team are so lovely, friendly and caring. I absolutely LOVE my finished results. Thank you all so much.
I have just completed first stage of an implant, having my tooth extracted. Dr Namm was excellent and explained the whole process to me. There was absolutely no pain involved in extracting the tooth. It was just so good...I was really impressed as I have had extensive dental work in the past and it has always been extremely painful. The after-care is second to none. I honestly can't recommend Altura Dental highly enough.
I recently had major dental surgery at Altura Cleveland and can't praise, and thank, them enough for their amazing work, care and professionalism. Dr Shaiel, from the first meeting to the final fitting (about 8 visits over a few months) explained everything in layman's terms as to what each treatment would entail, the costs associated with each option and the best options for my final outcome, and the care and time taken to reach that goal was exceptional. I would highly recommend Dr Shaiel and his team.
Very professional and friendly staff . I’m very happy with the results. And I love the follow up call to make sure we ok . I highly recommend this dental clinic. Thank you DR Namm and the helping staff .
This experience has been truly transformative. My dentist was exceptionally supportive, always available to address concerns, answer questions, make necessary adjustments, and provide reassurance that everything was progressing as expected. He ensured that my new teeth were perfectly suited for me.

Invisalign utilises a set of clear plastic ‘trays’ or aligners that are made custom to your teeth. These series of trays are design to gently and slowly move your teeth over a period of time. Compared to traditional braces, Invisalign is barely noticeable. With traditional braces you will be able to see the metal brackets and wires in the mouth however with Invisalign the aligners are clear, and as such very hard to notice. Hygiene is also greater improved as Invisalign is able to be removed from the mouth when cleaning.

Most Invisalign treatments take 6–18 months, depending on your starting point and goals. We can estimate your timeframe precisely during your digital scan and design consultation.
